Is it just me or did Monday come ridiculously fast? Definitely feel like I made the most of my weekend but it also flew right by and quite honestly the thought of work was giving me anxiety as the sun began to set on Sunday night. But alas, here we are again.
Linking up with B for this weekending post and wishing I was galavanting through Europe like she is right now. Since I'm not I'll just share my fun from the weekend.
Saturday after I hit the barre, I cleaned the whole house in preparation of my bestie and her husbands arrival. We ended up having a day in of drinking and chatting. Felt like we could have talked for days. For some reason we always forget to take photos when we are together but we snagged this one to document our day of fun (Isn't she so pretty?!). If you follow me on Instagram you've already seen it but if you aren't following...why aren't you following? ;) Here's a shortcut incase you want to stalk follow.
Seriously can't get enough of nights like this. I've missed having gatherings in my home, so it's so nice to have our place all set up and have little dinner parties or gatherings. Happiness for sure.
Sunday Funday was of course filled with none other than WORLD CUP! And what an AMAZING final. Seriously both teams came to play, this is exactly what a final game should look like. And in the end my team, the Germans (who I predicted to win from the very beginning) score in the last 3 mins of overtime and what a goal it was! I totally teared up when it happened. I love the energy of this beautiful game!
After world cup we headed out to look at some open houses. Came across an unexpected potential gem, 3 beds/2baths, with an open concept style and a dining area that will fit my table (very important, have you seen her?). It's an older home but its at the end of a cul de sac and it backs up to the creek and had a very tranquil backyard.
I feel like these pictures don't do it justice but you can see that it has really good bones.
The kitchen needs new appliances at some point but already has corian countertops and has two great skylights that create such great light in the space. I think this on could be a potential. It's been on the market for 2 months, which is a lifetime out here, probably because the price tag is high, but if we offer we will for sure low ball and negotiate.
There is another one that just came on the market and it was love at first (online) site. The dining room is to die for, I want it site unseen.
It has french doors on both sides of this dining room. Swoon.
We are waiting to set up an appointment with our realtor, but I'm already in love. I hope this house is as cute in person. I'm just worried about how high the price tag is going to go. Or what we willing to pay for this 2 bed/1 bath 1250 SF bungalow. Time will tell.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
