I confess, Scott and I don't have an iron. Well we might and if we do, it's buried in a box somewhere and I'm lazy pants anyway and I don't care enough to dig it out.
Want to see my iron?
Or I'll just use the dryer, who has time to Iron! (My friend Carla is appalled right now, I know it...she is the ironing queen!)
This one is crazy embarrassing but I'm going to share it anyway.
Sometimes when I'm driving I glance down at my tummy area and I'm like
And I'm thinking, it must just be my shirt rippling funny, cause that roll cannot be mine.
And less of this
Arghh, the second half of the month is always a little tighter for me than the first but not normally like this. I guess I have the anniversary sale to thank for that along with the Cabo trip and all of the other fun stuff Scott and I have been doing lately.
Time to tighten up on the spending cause pay day is a long way away.

hahahahah! the domain expiration bit made me laugh out loud. don't worry Shenine, when i decide to quit, i'll let y'all know :)
ReplyDeletei wear all of my clothes wrinkled or not because fuck ironing. i NEVER iron anything. i'm sure we have an iron somewhere but i have never touched it.

LOL I just can't stop laughing you made my whole day. Love it.
ReplyDeleteGirl, I totally do the car tummy thing... so I feel your pain there. I just CAN'T diet or eat healthy. There are too many good fried and covered in cheese things in the world for me to eat lettuce. And I don't iron either.... I usually use my flat iron. That's probably really bad huh?

haha I need to tighten up on the spending as well, so can you take me to Cabo with you? lol. I don't do the tummy thing, but I do look at my thighs and I'm like THEY TAKE UP THE WHOLE SEAT.
ReplyDeleteHa no iron for us either, it drives my mom insane. I see no need for ironing and I don't look like a wrinkled slob ;) I refuse to buy one... LOL
ReplyDeleteill join in on that cabo trip too. of course you know i've blogged that my spending is out of whack too.. what is in the air that is making us spend our dollas!!!
ReplyDeletethe gifs are the best. i love marty mcfly.
oh. and you are one of those people who does the "ill just put it in the dryer trick" omg NO. my husband does this. it makes me CRAZY
ReplyDeleteI hate to iron and I wear suits everyday! I just make sure they never ever get wrinkled because my iron resides in a closet and there is shall stay! Who knew about the dryer though ... thats awesome!
ReplyDeleteI don't iron either! The steam cycle is my BFF for reals.
ReplyDeleteI never iron, like ever and Gary always does - so I just hand over my stuff! he's the best lol! I get paid monthly (in the middle of the month) that was tough to get used to!!
ReplyDeleteI so need to tighten up on my spending! I was all "hey! I have more money left over than normal this time...which clearly means I should spend it..."
ReplyDeletewho is this Mint you speak of and why are they alerting you to all the fun you are having ;-)
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness though I don't iron at all. Basically because I have no room for an ironing board and I just figured out how to use my steamer without burning myself so I'm riding with that for a little while.
What is mint? .... I never Iron either.
ReplyDeleteLMAO, I do that too Im like surely thats just my shirt...nope thats my fat. It always makes me sad, then I see how long I can drive with it sucked in (not breathing).
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the anniversary sale tightening up your bank account!! Mine is the same way but I still can't stop shopping!
ReplyDeleteMy husband irons in our house...I hate it! Never heard of the hair dryer trick.
ReplyDeleteAbout the ironing confession: Sooo appalled it took me a day to comment! I mean if we're confessing, I confess I don't iron nearly as much as I used to and nearly 3/4 of my clothes go un-worn based on their ironing difficulty. But I just don't comprehend how people don't iron, I mean even just a quick pass thru....i don't get it, YET rarely is there a time that I can actually look at your clothes and say "yep, this girl doesn't own an iron." But wait, if Scott wears dressy clothes now, how does he get away without ironing??? Don't tell me he sits and blow dries his collar shirts??? Geez, I could start a blog just about ironing alone. I'd call it the The Importance of a Good Crease.
ReplyDeleteI give B the ole "help me, I'm poor" complete with Kristen Wiig's little desperate voice all the time....works every time!
