Confession Wednesday

Back at it ladies.  Time to confess with Kathy

Let's start off with the worst one first.  I was doing my usual makeup routine, had my foundation on and was getting ready to brush on my powder and I grab for my brush and it slips through my fingers and lands straight in the toilet!!

Thankfully there was nothing else in the toilet with it. Bleckh, so I fished it out washed it and then boiled. Awful. It needed a good cleaning anyway I guess.

Did you all know that it is treat receipt time at Starbucks. I rarely get myself Starbucks in the morning, but yesterday I treated myself TWICE!

I almost went bat shit crazy on a contractor yesterday. Last week I drove an hour away to meet the contractor at the building department to submit for an over-the-counter permit. This guy came with unsigned engineered drawings and without energy calcs, these are the only two requirements other than paying for the permit. 

(I'm sorry for this sputtering of work information that makes no sense to any of you but bare with me). So, I give him all of the drawings, cause I wasn't going to un-staple the set, and I tell him to get them signed, get the energy calcs and meet me back here for our new appointment in a week. Let me also point out that the drawings were approved minus these omissions on this guys part.  Fast-forward to yesterday. I'm at the building department, ready to pull this permit. Contractor shows up with only a briefcase, no roll of plans. He proudly pulls out the signed energy calcs and I say, "great, where are the signed drawings?!? "This is what he looked like

I mean seriously this should have been the easiest thing in the world. And here I am wasting a second afternoon on this noise! All he had to bring were the signed plans and signed calcs! Who goes to the building department to pull a permit without plans!?!  This is why I needed that second Starbucks that I mentioned above.  Ridiculous!
Ok, last one, not sure if it even counts as a confession, but I seriously love all you ladies on the east coast who post at midnight because after I'm done writing I get to go right ahead and read all of your stuff for tomorrow while I actually have the time to read and comment. Thanks for that little nugget every night dolls.
