You know what's been going on the past two months? Every single person has gone on vacation except me. Yes I'm bitter. While they are out guess who helps with all of their projects. Right the aforementioned bitter melon. I decided to take 1 DAY OFF during the 4th of July do you think anything got done while I was gone?
We've been trying to save for a house and then I discovered Ebates and my online shopping has been at an all time high. It's probably not as bad as I make it sound but it's more than I'm used to that is for sure. And now that I've seen a house I love I'm thinking, "$hit, I need to return all of this crap so I can get that house." As if my piddly little shopping spree's would actually make a difference in that department. And Scott is such a good boyfriend that when I was pre-shopping the anniversary sale and I was wavering on 2 items in my cart he said "Get 'em you deserve them, you work hard." I can't tell you how fast I clicked complete purchase!
Now I just have to wait for them to arrive
Hope the rest of the week goes by fast for us all.
That is the worst when everyone around you is going on a fun vacation and you are stuck at home, not vacationing. But at least you have Talenti Gelato! It looks and sounds absolutely delicious. Now I want that and to do some online shopping...

Girl I've been doing the same thing after working out but instead of gelato mine has been cake. So counter productive but I just don't even care! Hope your week gets better!

ReplyDeleteI hate when everyone is gone and you are expected to pick up the slack but when you come back from a break it is just waiting for you! LOL, my husband is the same way when I'm really debating about making a purchase (but I do shop somewhat rarely)...those kinds of bf/husbands are the best :) I really like ebates, I buy most of our household stuff online anyway so it has really been a nice extra bonus in cash.

I don't think Oliver would tell me "get them you've been working so hard" hahaha but you know what That caramel gelato was good but i favored the coffee one... you HAVE to try the coconut bliss ice creams, they are amaze!
