Weekending

Here we are at Monday again. Linking up with the lovely Biana and Mehgan.
Honestly, I didn't do much this weekend. Scott and I have been going like crazy the entire summer and this was pretty much the first weekend with nothing on the books and it felt wonderful.
That being said, I was up early on Saturday to take my car in for an oil change and general tune up. I ended up spending most of the day with my parents. Saturday night Scott and I went to Hop Grenade a local beer garden in town and watched the Giants game. Started out a little rocky but our boys pulled through with a big win.
Sunday morning I was up at the crack of dawn yet again.
Since I rarely have the TV to myself, I decided to watch the Say Yes to the Dress: The Big Day marathon. Anyone ever watched these. I have to say, these brides were seriously annoying. This Kristi girl who married some guy on the Minnesota Twins was a PSYCHO b*%$h. She kept saying "It's my day!" And the finance would say "our" and she'd say "no, it's my day."
Then she tells the husband he can pick the flavor of the wedding cake...they are sitting there tasting cakes and he picks the one he wants and she says "no, its my day, we aren't doing that one." She was a straight a-hole, yet of course I sat through the entire show to see the wedding, which was beautiful.
After my little marathon, Scott and I went out to brunch and then to 4 open houses. All duds. :( Sad. We've been looking for so long, the market it slowing and our lease is almost up. Talk about stress.
Finished off the weekend with dinner at our house with my parents watching the Giants win game 5.
Go Giants!!!

How was your weekend?

  1. Ugh I feel you on getting up early. I always want to sleep in but it never seems to happen. Thank goodness for weekend naps! And wow to that bride.... if I was him I think I'd rethink my decision to marry her!! Happy Monday!

  5. Gooooo Giants! I actually watched both games this weekend and I'm loving it!! Wahoooo, hope we can win this next one and call it a day! And I totally like baseball better than football, so much easier to understand for me. Football: I just don't get it. Beau needs to work on me in that department.

Thanks again for being my voice of reason Sunday, it got me through the day....it's one day at a time over here at Casa de Crazy.

Here's to a speedy week (short for me, I took Friday off for actual fun stuff if you can believe it!).

    Booses :)

  6. I seem to wake up at the crack of dawn every Saturday too but I love being able to lay there and do nothing or anything but get up and go to work. The brides on some of these shows are unreal... they need perspective on what is really important about a wedding! None of that stuff will matter 5 minutes after it's over and the business of life begins:)

  11. I feel like on the days I have to wake up I'm so tired and it's so difficult. On the weekends I'm wide awake at like 7:30...sucks man. I've never watched Say Yes to the Dress - I feel like they are always so ratchet.
