Humpday Confessions

It feels like it's been ages since my last confession link up with Kathy.
In reality I've only missed one week but my posts have been pretty sparse as of late.

I confess Scott gave me the most amazing birthday gift and I pretty much kept it a secret from everyone except my parents and sister. I blurted it out this past weekend with my besties and they were flabbergasted that I didn't share this coveted information earlier. (Let's just say that last week was a crazy rough week and maybe one day I'll share the happenings but for now we're just going to let the situation calm down.)
What was the gift do you ask?

Scott is taking us to Italy for our 4 year anniversary in April!!!
To say that I was shocked would be the understatement of the year. I went from shock, to excitement and then the fear kicked in too. The flying fear. God I hate that I have this issue. I fly all the time yet these long trips freak me the heck out. I'll just get myself some anti-anxieties and be just fine. I made it through it the first time and I will be just fine again.

I confess I went to barre for the first time in a week and a half yesterday and I could barely walk out of there.  This chick kicked my ass hardcore. I woke up with the craziest soreness in my quads, possibly the worst ever and I love being sore. Every single move I make hurts. Last night after a long day at work, I stopped by the store and got myself some mousse (which I've been out of for a week...slacker) and a MAPLE DONUT. Good lord. I ate a quarter of it before dinner and saved the rest for my morning drive to Sac today. I don't feel good about myself for this but since I didn't get Voodoo donuts in Portland, I'll give myself a break.

I confess, I'm bummed that I couldn't come up with a funny confession this week because those are my favorite to write. Fingers crossed that this funny girl will be back next week bringing you all some good laughs.

Happy Humpday!
