And then turned into this
I'm standing there bra-less in my night shirt that barely covers my rear and mind you I'm also wearing a thong underneath. And while my knocking pounding didn't alert my mother, it did in fact alert the neighbors next door, who decided to come out and find out what the H was going on.
First they just look at me and I say, "I'm locked out."
I proceed to pound on the door some more. I knew what she was doing, she was brushing her teeth with her electric toothbrush and couldn't hear a thing. I keep knocking. Nothing. I am pissed at this point.
Then the neighbors come back out and say,
"hey, do you want to use our phone to call your room?"
"oh, ya that would be great..."
Ughh, let me mention that it was a little grandma that opened the door, so I think ok, sure no big deal, it's just her and her husband maybe. So I walk in with my short pajama shirt and my headlights and there are 6 people in there. Count 'em, I said 6.
I literally picked up the phone, dialed our room number said "uhh can you open the door!" And then I thanked them, kept my head down and ran out of the room. When I got out of their room, there she was a fit of giggles already starting in her throat. When we walked into our room she might as well have done this
She was absolutely hysterical after that. She couldn't stop laughing for the next 10 minutes. The fact that I literally said "I hope no one see's me" and that I got caught out there bra-less with my healights on and my tail hanging out was pretty much the funniest moment of the year for her.
I was pissed at the time and wanted to tackler her on the bed, but it was pretty funny.

hahah too funny! Something to remember the trip by!
ReplyDeleteto start when you mentioned Pismo Beach the first thought that popped into my head was "Clueless" the movie!!Moving right along!! Absolutely hilarious story - I'm sure looking back you can laugh at it now...because all the thoughts that ran through your head of "no one will see me" "it'll be quick" never turn out that way do they LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. That's too funny! If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure I accidentally flashed my neighbors when I ran to my car to get something too. And I have to see them all the time. :/
ReplyDeletehahahaahah! hilarious. at least you can file that under "remember that time when...." moments :)
ReplyDeletethanks for linking up!

Hahaha this is the best thing ever! I would've been mortified.

LOL!!! That is a truly awesome story but I feel awful for you because I would have been panicking and mortified too!
ReplyDeleteOh it's just too good, I hope your mom reads this re-telling of the incident so she can laugh hysterically for another 10 minutes!! It's the BEST story ever, and you paint such a good picture with your description of the headlights blaring & tail out, lol. I hope that family that came to your rescue had a good sense of humor and had a good laugh themselves after you skedaddled outta their room, b/c it would be a shame if this was lost on a serious bunch.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm cracking up but I can imagine how embarrassed and pissed you were at the time! Yup, I think I would have tackled her LOL
ReplyDeleteOMG this is HILARIOUS!!! I would have been livid hahaha
ReplyDeleteOh, I would have been in a panic!!! Sorry, it is funny but I would have been so embarrassed!
ReplyDeleteGirl I was reading this while nodding and laughing......definitely something that would for sure happen to me!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh this is the most hilarious thing I have ever read - something like this happened to me in London, I was in a singlet (no bra) and boxer shorts and my husband was in the shower. i was mortified!
ReplyDeleteLMAO I could see this happening the opposite way. My mom would be the most likely to get locked out braless and me cackling at her.
ReplyDeleteThat's both hilarious and unfortunate! My freshman year of college we had a hall bathroom and every time I took a shower I made 10000000000000000% sure I had my keys because I didn't want to be locked out and have to walk across campus in a towel to campus po po.
