You've definitely seen her around these parts and her comments on this here blog are some of my most favorite ever.
Carla and I met while working in an absolute hell hole of a place. You'd think I was talking about some restaurant we worked at in our teens, but I assure you it was an adult job that required a college education. While we hated the job and our coworkers/bosses we loved the group of wonderful girls we worked with everyday. Work really isn't so bad when you work with friends.
We started out as just work friends and chatting only during the hours of 8 and 5. But as time went on we started to discover all of our similarities, quirks and general dislike for our coworkers.
The rest was pretty much history.
There are so many amazing memories to choose from that I'm not sure how to only pick a few, but here goes.
{Keith Urban}
Carla and I have a tradition of seeing Keith Urban together and this year marked our 3rd concert together and it was just as memorable, if not more. Two "grown" women in our 30's screaming like little girls at a country concert. Nothing quite like that feeling.
That time you touched Keith....eeeeee!!!
You're right C, we are total weirdo's ;)
{That time we bought the same exact ring}
And wore them on the same hand in the exact same order. I'll never forget that day when I sent you the photo of my new ring and the follow up call right after was Priceless.
{Dressing up in 80's gear any chance we get}
{That day you dropped your sunglasses at that winery and both lenses fell out}
And you became Harry Potter
(Don't kill me for posting this)
I remember that we were hysterical with laughter.
{Weekend trips}
Whether it's Tahoe, Napa or Seattle you are a fabulous travel buddy.
That scary-ass ferris wheel in Seattle...bonding for sure.
