What's in your Weekender?
Apologies for postponing my weekender post until today but I just had to get my post about Scandal out there. And so I wouldn't feel bad about telling you all that I watched Scandal on my laptop for the entire weekend and now I'm all caught up.
HA! I'm kidding. :) I did however get myself to Season 2 Episode 5. And quite honestly I had a hard time pulling myself away from it again to write tonight. (I swear after this week, I'll calm down about this show). Alright, on to the weekender. Scott's dad Ken is visiting us from San Diego and so the three of us started off the weekend with a Dos Equis Amber and some yummy Mexican food. I don't know about you all but I'm pretty wiped out on Friday nights so I let myself go to bed early (to watch Scandal). Saturday was all about basketball and for those of you with sports fan boyfriends/husbands you probably shared my fate on Saturday as well. That's right it was the Final Four of March Madness and our Gators were one of the fantastic four ;). I do enjoy watching the Gators and they've had such a great season so it was definitely tough seeing them lose. :( Great season Gators!

On to Sunday... does anyone else wake up and have a little bit of sadness inside because in less than 24 hours you'll be chained to your desk for 5 days straight. I don't do this every Sunday, but there are definitely times that the dread comes early.
We decided to continue the sports weekend but switched to baseball and headed to the A's game. Shout out to Kathleen and Rankin for picking up the tickets for us! ;) I talked my dad into coming to the game with us and it was really nice to spend some quality time with him because we never do that. Thankfully our A's pulled through and brought us a super great game to watch and a big win against Seattle.
Topped the weekend off with, you guessed it, Scandal. A nice little treat to myself after a long weekend of sports. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Monday! Halfway to humpday.
I was pretty bummed the Gators lost - but they did have a great season - and it's always great to be a gator!! Can't wait for you to get all caught up with Scandal!!
