Things I've learned from Scandal

I apologize that it seems that my whole world revolves around Scandal these days, but it does. That might seem pathetic, but I've been working like crazy and Scandal definitely beats anything else on tv right now and I'd much prefer watching this to scrolling through facebook or instagram.
So here are the things I've learned from Scandal after watching Seasons 1 and 2.
{one}
I want to be a Gladiator in a Suit. I don't want to wear the same suit that these kids wear but I'd like to be a Gladiator too.
{two}
 Good lord is everyone a murderer?!? They all have blood on their hands which is probably why none of them sleep at night.
{three}
I think the Gladiators would definitely falter if they didn't have Huck. What I'm hoping will happen (spoiler alert) is that he is training Quinn so that maybe just maybe can go back to his family.
{four}
Thorngate = Google.
I mean seriously you know that this program has to exist out there. Look at Google. If you sign in  they watch every move you make and they even make suggestions about things you'll like. It's on every sidebar of every page you visit. They might as well put a pair of eyes on your sidebar that says "I'm watching you". In all seriousness I do think this program exists which is why I shut my computer every night when I'm not on it so that a super spy can't use my laptop camera to see what I'm doing in my house ;)
{five}
Trust your gut!
This is for women, I swear men don't have the same "gut" instinct that women have. Olivia has strayed a couple times, but I think it was more about being distracted than her gut steering her wrong.
{six}
People will do just about anything for the person they love.
Not that this is new news but the episode where Fitz sat with Liv for 21 minutes (I wont spoil) to prove that he loves her. And this speech might be one of the best speeches ever in the history of Scandal.
And I'm throwing in this compilation because it was too good not too.

I should also point out that some of these people kill for people things they love, see number two above. And don't do this.

{seven}
Red wine is the answer to everything after a rough day. Olivia Pope does it so it must be true.
Oh and apparently it is also ok to drink it straight from the bottle...even if it's a $300 bottle.

{eight}
I need more white in my closet. Olivia Pope is the epitome of class in white.

Can't wait to start Season 3 and be all caught up! Happy Scandal watching!

  1. You are so funny!! Can't wait for you to be all caught up so that some/all of your questions get answered!! I've realized a few things, everyone in washington is pretty much a liar and dirty in some way or another - you can't really trust politicians and if you wear white - you'll look like a boss lady!!!
