Five on Friday

{one} Yesterday I had some meetings in Sacramento and decided I'd just work out there for the afternoon once I was done. One of my besties (thing 2 you've seen her) works out there and instead of heading to Starbucks I went to her work and worked out of her conference room. It was fun to feel like we worked together again, even if it was just for a few hours. And of course we visited our favorite salads for dinner.

{two} I mentioned that Scott got some great news a few weeks back but I wanted to give him the chance to tell all his friends and family before I mentioned it here. He interviewed for a new job at St. Mary's College on a Monday and was offered the job that same Thursday! Talk about a Rockstar! Proud of you Scott! And he's starting his new job on Monday as a Gael! Go Gaels!!
{three} I was in Irvine for work this week to meet some clients. After our meeting we headed to Yard House for some happy hour. This place has 180 beers on tap! HHWWHHAATTT!? Yes! AND they have the option for shorty glasses, pints and then the half yard. You can see it in the photo

. {four}  I said I was perfectly happy with my one Louis, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want a weekender like this.  And now that I'm thinking about it maybe it just needs to be a little carry on rolly bag...I'm not going to get one but it's kind of fun to think about.

I found this candle in a cute little boutique in Laguna in November and I'm in love with this line of candles. I just found out that they sell them at Nordstrom too! I think this is the perfect house warming gift paired with a bottle of wine.
