What's in your Weekender?

I started off my weekend with a much needed and well deserved one of these.
If you've never had a martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives you are very much missing out on a true martini experience. I suggest you try it. A well made martini can be pretty amazing, unfortunately I don't come across too many that are made this perfectly. Perfectly shaken so that it almost tastes like water. Dangerous...yes it is.

I pretty much have one word for Saturday. Dayfade. Is that supposed to be two words? One of Scott's best friends was visiting from San Diego so we all got together for a little reunion. Started off with brunch and bottomless Mimosas followed by a visit to some of our favorite bars in the area. Quite honestly by 4pm, I was pretty drunk. And I absolutely hate that feeling. I've never been one to like the drunk feeling, I don't mind a good buzz but the second I cross to drunk I pretty much start to freak out a little bit. So, I traded my beer glass for a water glass for the next couple of hours. Much better.

Final bar stop was one of my favorite places, Wreck Room! I love this place because of the Glove Game. It's basically a punching/speed bag. You hit it once as hard as you can and you get a score. I'm the queen and Scott is the King of this game :) Here's my score, I'd like to say that I beat some of the boys too. Woot Woot. Love it.

And the big reason we were out that day was to see Ellie Goulding. It was a pretty fun, yet ridiculously short concert. Best song was of course "I need your love" after that I was good to go ;)

And we rounded out the weekend with Easter at my grandparents house. One of my favorite holidays with my grandpa because he makes delicious gin/vodka fizz's and we drink a whole lot of champagne too. Not to mention the phenomenal eggs dishes everyone makes to contribute to our amazing brunch.

I didn't take too many photos but here's what I did get.

How was your weekend?

I have one more hellish week ahead of me and then I'm hoping for some let down...fingers crossed.
