Last Friday night we took little Princess Ayla to see Disney on Ice and it was fantastic! Scott and I (he let me tag my name onto the gift) bought Ayla the tickets for Christmas since the show was right around the corner. At first Ayla wasn't too keen on leaving Mommy and Nana at home but the whole point of our little night out was for Scott and I to spend quality time with the little miss while Mommy and Nana got a little break. As we got closer to the day we started seeing commercials on TV for the show and by Friday Ayla was ecstatic and honestly so was I. Just seeing her so excited and talking about dressing up made me excited and want to dress up too. Ayla dressed as her favorite princess, Rapunzel and I just wore hot pink, with a teal necklace, slapped a tiara on my head and called it good.

| I know I'm biased but I think she is the most beautiful child that ever was. Right?!?! Look at that FACE!! |
We arrived right in time and headed on in to grab ourselves some hot dogs and cotton candy per Ayla's request. Poor Scott stood in a horrendous line while Ayla and I traipsed off to find our seats. Midway to our destination the little miss spotted cotton candy and had to have it (don't worry I made her eat her dinner first). Once I paid the absolutely absurd 12 DOLLARS for the cotton candy, we made our way to our seats.
When the first act came on Ayla just lit up and was so excited. I choked up...yup right there in the first 2 minutes. The first act was pretty quick and as we were clapping Ayla turned to me, concerned "Is there more?" Me: "Of course there is more, lots more!"
This little conversation of ours happened after the first few acts. I think she was worried that it was going to end at any moment.
I think Ayla and I had the same favorite moments. Rapunzel, when they were singing "I See the Light". Here it is from the movie if you haven't heard it.

Ayla sang along and I almost lost it completely. My eyes were full of tears. God, so precious, so blessed.

| Of course we bought her a souvenir. Could you resist that face?! |
And the finale of the whole night is right here in this amazing clip. Thank God Scott captured it!
She yelled "Best Night Ever! " - Yes, I cried....again!

Thank you Scott for getting those tickets for us so we could enjoy such a special night with my precious girl.

So sweet! And yes that face is absolutely precious, I would have to agree she's the most beautiful child there ever was (girl child that is, you know I'm a bit biased in the boy department ;))
