It's been forever since I had a good ol' Confession Session
(I miss Kathy's link up)
Let's get right into it.
I confess....
Today I got an outlook invite from my Director and Principal for a lunch meeting on Friday and my initial reaction was something like this
I don't think there is anything to be nervous about so I'm not really sure why I had this reaction....Bt seriously my first thought was "am I in trouble?" So then I start to think about this and decide that if I was in trouble I'd get pulled into the conference room not taken out to lunch. I'm going to assume that it is just a 6 month post promotion touch base. Let's hope I'm right.
When we first moved into the new house I spent a whole week by myself and I slept just fine. I didn't get scared or anything. When Scott came back from San Diego there were a few nights in a row that I'd be sleeping soundly and then all of a sudden I heard a noise like someone was in the house and no joke I was like this kid
I've been pretty good about cutting gluten out of my diet until last night at the grocery store. I was grabbing my gluten free Chex and I look over and there are the Lucky Charms that I've been craving (shark week is approaching). I couldn't resist and before I knew it that box was in my basket. Then when I came home to write this post I saw this.
I mean seriously is this real?! I'm taking it as a sign that Lucky Charms will make you look like this...YAY!
Last night we were watching ESPN and Marshawn Lynch's interview where he started off by saying "I'm just here so I won't get fined so you guys can AX me whatever you want but I'm just here so I don't get fined."
I look at Scott and he says
"He went to Cal."
Me: "Did he graduate from Cal saying AX?"
He also proceed to answer all 29 questions with "I'm just here so I don't get fined"
ESPN we didn't need to hear all 29 of those responses but thank you for wasting 2 minutes of my life.
Happy Wednesday!

LOL at your reaction to the invite from director/principal. every time i get an email from the CIO (usually about random shit like the hobbit movie since he knows i love that), i have the same reaction haha!
ReplyDeletealso, the linkup is happening but another fellow canadian has asked me if she could take over: http://making-melissa.blogspot.com/
Hehehehe I did love the GIFS in this post! Made it so humorous and entertaining! :)
ReplyDeleteMy face would have also been like that if I'd received that invite ;)

You totally needed the Lucky Charms. That was a sign.
ReplyDeleteLOL at your gifs, love them! Hahaha "I'm just here so I don't get fined" what the heck?? Uggh, I hate it when people say "ax" it makes me ragey!
ReplyDeleteLucky Charms are my fav!! I didn't watch the interview but I saw it all over Twitter. 2 things. 1) When people say ax it drives me bat shit crazy. 2)Airing an interview & continuing to ask questions when every answer is clearly going to be "I'm just here so I don't get fined" is unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed the lunch is to tell you you get another raise. Don't eat those Lucky Charms! Full of chemical garbage. Bless you for having to listen to ESPN all day everyday... And duh he graduated saying "ax", do you think he himself actually did any of his schoolwork?!
ReplyDeleteOh I wish a lucky charms diet could get me that body!!
ReplyDeleteevery time my boss asks to speak with me or anything, I instantly think I am in trouble, lol. I've never had lucky charms, maybe I need to eat them!
ReplyDeleteAny time my boss calls me or asks to see me, I swear I feel like a kid getting sent to the principal all over again. And that reaction gif is PERFECTION.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was teaching at my old job, I wouldn't answer students until they said "ask" instead of "ax." Just no.
Mmmmm Lucky Charms <3 You'll totally look like that, pretty girl!
Those lucky charms pictures...LOLL. Cute blog! Excited for future posts. XO
ReplyDeleteYour GIFs are ON POINT! haha, seriously could watch them all over and over!
ReplyDeletehaha the gifs had me rolling!! haha
