Get back on that wagon!

Since I moved I've been finding all sorts of clothes that I forgot I had. Inside I'm thinking SCORE!! That is until I find a pair of my favorite skinny jeans and realize they don't fit. Big Fail. This is the problem with wearing cheap jeans. I confess... lately I've been putting aside my 7's, Citizens and Rock & Republics (bought back in the day when they were sold at Nordstrom right next to my other loves) and I've been sporting the oh so stretchy Forever 21's. When I bought said cheap jeans I'm damn sure that my expensive girls still fit, so the fact that I have neglected to put on my beauties in months is absolutely unacceptable.

Talk about a motivational moment. After I attempted to squeeze myself into my favorite pair of skinny jeans, I decided it was ok to mope about the house with Ben and Jerry to comfort me. And it didn't end there. I went out with some friends to a local country bar and on the way home I absolutely insisted that I NEEDED a milkshake and made Scott pull into Carls Jr to get me one. Do you think we only ordered a milkshake? Of course we did. An oreo milkshake with a side of churros and curly fries. And yes, it was amazing!
As I hunted for this photo, the lovely Carls Jr website thought it'd be nice to mention that it is 720 CALORIES!!! Good thing I didn't drink it all!

How hungry are you for this right now?
I'm pretty sure I nursed that moment of depression to the fullest with all of the garbage that I ate above. Keep in mind, I never eat this kind of stuff. I'm not a fast food eater, except for In-n-Out. And let's be real that is like the Saks of fast food.
Monday was a new day, it was time to get back to the Bar Method start eating healthy and get into my damn jeans! I was all ready to go to class but instead of signing up early like the other 22 people did, I waited until 4 pm because I've never once seen a completely full class at my studio. Welcome to the Bar Method 2014... 5:30 class: waitlist only! I took myself to Sprouts and splurged on all of my healthy meal ingredients for the week and decided I'd spend some time on the treadmill while dinner was cooking. Take that waitlist.

Last night was my first night of Bar for 2014 and as expected I could barely walk out of there. I'm a happy camper getting back on my wagon with my favorite workout routine, my healthy eating and looking forward to being back in my favorite jeans.

How are you all doing with your resolutions/goals for the new year? Do you need help getting back on your wagon?

Happy Hump Day Friends!
Booses,
Shenine joon
