Have I told you that my favorite actress of all time is Meryl! Yes, I call her by her first name.
I recently saw this photo of her on Facebook and it solidified my love for her.
She is so classy and chic. Her movies are phenomenal and she is the epitome of great women in Hollywood.
Look at how gorgeous she was in 1979 and look at how she rocks this dress 30 YEARS later and looks absolutely fabulous!
Let's talk about my favorite Meryl movies:
{one}
It's Complicated
Such a feel good movie. Whenever I'm down or stressed, I turn it on and I'm enveloped in the cuteness that is this movie. I mean the scene where she and Alec Baldwin get caught in bathroom smoking weed. So good! "Care for a toke?"
{two}
Mamma Mia
I'm pretty sure I saw this movie 3 times in the theater. I could not get enough. I love so many scenes in this movie that it's hard to pick one. Here's a good one though.
Or this...
{three}
Devis Wears Prada
You love to hate her is this. She is the Queen B and no one else could have played that role better than she did.
{four}
Julie and Julia
Another great role. She was perfect as Julia Child. You couldn't help but love her.
My favorite line of the movie
{five}
Bridges of Madison County
I confess, I had not watched this movie until this past weekend. GASP! But once again she did not disappoint. What a love story. You love it and it breaks your heart at the same time.
Of course there are many more fantastic movies out there but these are just a few of my favorites. I hope I did her justice and I hope you'll all jump on the "I Love Meryl!" train!
