The Bar Method that is. After falling off the horse for 3 months, I bit the bullet and climbed right back on tonight. Back in May I came across a living social deal for a one month membership at The Bar Method, I didn't know what it is but had heard about it from the boyfriends aunt and cousin who go to a studio in San Diego. I did a little research got scared and bought the deal anyway. That night I headed to the studio which is conveniently 5 minutes from my work. I'd like to point out that I was the only newcomer at this particular class, which sucks because you get to see how not flexible you are in a class full of Elastagirl-like barbies. By the end of the class my legs were shaking so bad I could barely walk and on my drive home I could barely grip the wheel to drive. AND it only took a couple more classes and I was addicted! I was going to classes 4 days a week for the whole month and loving every minute of it. By the way, do you know how Kelly Osbourne lost all that weight? That's right Bar Method! Ignore that part where she says she hates life while she's doing it, it's incredible really.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm not exactly an exerciser, I'm more of a socializer. I might have a plan to go to the gym but if someone says "happy hour" any idea of a treadmill, eliptical or weights are gone gone gone. I've tried the whole gym thing for years and after every visit, I'm tired and ready to eat myself out of house and home. I'm also not a very happy camper afterward either. This Bar Method thing is a different story all together. I absolutely LOVE IT; every minute of the entire hour. And not only that, afterwards I have a massive endorphin rush and am the happiest little camper there ever was. SCORE! Oh ya and the refrigerator remains in tact.
Booses,
Shenine joon
