Does everything happen for a reason? Do you believe that fate steps in? Some people are more conclusive on their feelings of fate and the happenings of life. Me...I'm still looking for the “now I know why each step has led me to this point” moment in life. I tend to find myself enveloped in the feeling of just floating through time and space and being a bystander in my own life. I like to think that I am a hopeful dreamer, but every faithful person must encounter these moments at some point or another, right?. So for the time being I'm going to stick to my prophetic ideology and know that regardless of what I've done and where I've been it has all led me to this monumental moment...the day I decided to start a blog! HAHA, talk about a dramatic start to a not so climactic moment. On a more serious note, I've always loved to write, but in the last 10 years I completely forgot about this so-called love, so i'm challenging myself to ignite it within me once again.

A little bit about me, I'm inspired by poetry, good quotes, music and lyrics. There are few things in life that touch my soul like a few simple words arranged in masterful fashion to ignite the inner most places of the heart. I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect quote, so you'll see a lot of them on my blog, along with songs or lyrics that are especially inspiring. You can even quote me when I say “Poetry is the breath to my life”. I love photography and hope that one day I can spend more time mastering that craft and capturing the beauty in the world. I'm a family girl to the end; it is where my soul is happiest. There is something about all the family being in the house together laughing, singing and dancing that just fills me up inside. And I'm a fiction reader; I love to be taken away. Whether it's the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Something Borrowed or Fifty Shades of Grey, I'll take them in all their glory.

My blog doesn't exactly have a specific theme its more of a public method of self discovery and hopefully entertaining for me and all parties involved. I'm on a quest...for many things actually. But right now as I am approaching the ending of the first 1/3 of my life, I'm reflecting, cleansing and learning. I'm hoping to close out my 20's with a bit of a bang and look into my future with a fresh face, knowing eyes and an open heart. Thank you for joining me on my journey, I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do.
If you're like me, you like a face to a name.
