We Bought a House!!!

Happy short week Tuesday!!I've been holding on to this little nugget since November 2nd when we made the offer but now it's pretty much official because we are getting the keys tomorrow!! We bought our first home!!!

After almost 2 years of looking and probably 15+ offers, we finally got one and isn't it just the perfect little house?!? It was so important us to find a home with charm and this beauty was perfection since the first time I laid eyes on it. We were in the neighborhood looking at another house around the corner and saw that this one was having an open house so of course we stopped to check it out. When I got out of the car I literally said to Scott, "oh my God, it's so cute, where do I sign?!" We went in and poked around, saw the price and then I got sad. It was way over priced and there was no way were going to pay the asking price. We decided to make a low offer and thankfully the seller ended up negotiating with us and accepting our offer!

After the last house, we didn't want to get too excited because we had to get through home inspections. Thankfully, this little beauty came through with flying colors!

We signed papers on Saturday afternoon and did our final walk through. 

Now we are patiently awaiting the keys for our first home!!

The timing couldn't be more perfect because our lease is up at the end of December so we have the whole month to paint, organize and move in!

We are so excited!
